Commercial locksmith in Aspe, from the market streets to Tres Hermanas
Aspe works for a living: footwear, furniture, rubber and plastic, building trades, and the shops and offices of the centre. When the door of a unit will not open in the morning, or a set of keys has walked out with a former employee, the day stops until it is sorted.

The estates
Units on Tres Hermanas, Avenida de Navarra and the Alicante road
Aspe has three industrial areas. The Tres Hermanas I and II estates hold footwear and furniture firms; the Avenida de Navarra and Aljau strip, on the way out towards Novelda, has footwear, furniture, building, food and tyre businesses and the town's ecopark; and the Alicante road (sector 7) is for light industry.
On all of them the work is the same and it is limited on purpose:
- Opening the pedestrian door of a unit when nobody can get in.
- Changing or repairing the lock of that door, or of an office or store inside.
- Opening or replacing a padlock on a roller door or a yard gate.
- No roller-door motors, slats or springs; no welding or steelwork.
If the trouble is a nave that nobody can get into one morning, the guide on being locked out of a unit in Tres Hermanas explains which door to start with.
In town
Shops, bars and offices in the centre
The centre has its covered market, a street market on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the shops and bars round the Plaza Mayor, several of them on streets closed to traffic, where the van parks at the edge and the tools are carried in.
- Shopfronts: locks on glass and aluminium shop doors, repaired or replaced.
- Shutter padlocks: opened when the key is lost, replaced when worn.
- Office doors: cylinders changed when staff change, or a lock fitted to a room that needs one.
- Safes: opened when the code is lost, or a new one fixed down: see safes.
After staff leave
When you no longer know who has a key
Keys get lent, copied elsewhere and forgotten in drawers. When a manager leaves on bad terms, or you take over premises from another tenant, changing the cylinders on the outside doors is the only way to know exactly who can get in. If you have signs that someone has already tried, read marks round a cylinder, and after a forced entry, repairs after a break-in.

Questions from businesses in Aspe
What exactly do you do at an industrial unit?
Two things: open a door that nobody can get through, and change or repair its lock. Roller-door motors, shutter slats, welding and steelwork are not locksmith jobs and are not taken on.
The staff are outside the nave at eight in the morning and nobody has a key. Which door do you open?
Usually the side door, the pedestrian door beside the roller door, because its lock is built to be opened and changed. The guide on being locked out of a unit in Tres Hermanas explains why.
A manager has left with a set of keys. Can the locks be changed before tomorrow?
The cylinders on the outside doors can be changed in one visit, at a time that suits the business. Say how many doors there are and send a photo of each lock.
Can you come before we open or after we close?
Planned work is booked around your hours where possible; a door that cannot be locked at closing time is dealt with that evening. The price is agreed before work starts, and you can pay by cash, card or Bizum.
